Ordering textbooks for primary and secundary school students

In this case, the schools of the visually-impaired students sends the order to the federation on a pre-prepared form.
After it, the federation orders the required books from the schoolbook publisher, and they will - after the conversion – be forwarded to the school’s adress by mail. It is important to know that the books belong to the school, the student can only use them.
The 2010-2011's rates are as follows:
- Electronic textbooks: the price is four times the normal variations
- Mp3 textbooks (some mathematics, physics, chemistry books): six times the normal variations
The invoice issued for the name of the school, which is required to compensate.
If you send your orders lately, it’s a higher rate to occur, that we can not make it for the school’s starting.

Audio textbooks

Audible (read to tape) Textbook Ordering for high school students
Those students who are studying in a secoundary school, free of charge ordering audio textnooks from the federation. The student should mark on the list of audio books which books they need, but only one in a type.
Please send the orderings to the following adress:

The students who are livinjg in Budapest are informed by phone when they can get their books personally, and for the ones who are living in regions, we send the books by post.

Braille-score

Transcription and printing of Braille-scores for blind students who learns music and music-teachers.

Why is it usefull?

Learning music makes every man’s life more beautifull. If someone is not playing a professional level, it is altough valuable, becouse it is a pastime what makes you happy. In addiction it improves the aesthetic senses, shapes the taste and has beneficial impact on overall learning processes. Fort he blind it is a way for equal oppurtinities, as an expression possiblity.
The score is an essential equipment for the musician. To obtain the score doesn’t represent any problems for a visionary musician, but for the blind a dot wrutten score is required.

What are we affording?

The Hungarian Federation of the Blind and Particularly Sighted has created the possibility of Braille transcription and printing of music sheets. The wanted music scores is beeing digitized by an employee with a computer program which has developed for transcription of the csores into dotwriting. The completed score can be processed with the BME Light music program: you can listen, read by note to note and print in Braille writing.

How much does it cost?

Fort he 100th birthday aniversary of Imre Ungar, Hungary's first blind piano master and the 200th of the birth of Louis Braille, the MVGYOSZ makes and provides the Braille-scores freely in 2009 and 2010 for the customers.
